New artwork of the Gladiator Razorback & Beastmaster featured in the forthcoming CLAU-Team Actions has just been added to our homepage and has also been posted in the forums.
In their early training, before a decision has been made on their future role in the arena, gladiators that show an aptitude for it are selected to become ‘bestiarii’, or beastmasters. Barracked separately from the run of the mill gladiator population, they are schooled extensively in the care and control of their ferocious charges, the gigantic pit beasts that are the terror of the arena and battlefield alike. Though primarily valued for their skills as beast handlers, many are also capable warriors in their own right.
