ICE News October 17 2008
Hi Folks,
It’s been a week of brainstorming and hard work here at ICE – with the result that Tim has produced EA 10. RMC Cyradon is coming, and you can get a taste of what is to come by checking out the rules for training packages for RMC and RMX in the latest EA. In response to customer requests, Tim has also created some new spell casting rules. These “Irregular Casting Times” are based on casting times of one round per 5 power points, and can be used to speed casting times for lower level spell casters.
This EA also includes 4 new elemental spell lists and we are rounding out the EA with a new feature – a review of the “Rings of Ternahl” a submission in the ICE Vaults by Balhirath. Future EAs and Harpers Bazaars will include regular reviews of customer submissions in the ICE Vaults.

Tim and I are in the process of a lot of changes on the website. One of the big changes will be rolled out on the front page very soon. It will be converted to be more of a blog with more frequent posts about products of interest as well as more regular ICE news. We will also be reviewing ICE Vault Submissions regularly on the website. We are also considering accepting customer submissions for the EA and HB. Look for submission guidelines on the forums.
Product Updates:
The second HARP SciFi book is progressing—the tables have been very difficult to pagemake and Sherry has been doing a magnificent job with the pagemaking. The main book is in final art acquisition which has been taking forever, but we are making progress
RMC Cyradon is currently in playtest and is shaping up well.
We have 3 modules with full color maps coming out in the near future, once we can get good mapping software in house. Ideally the modules will include maps scaled for use with Disposable Heroes or minis. These three modules are:
- The Haunted Isle
- Elisera’s Tears
- The Ruins of Kausur – set in Cyradon.
Bruce has been getting the back room ready for a bunch of incoming inventory and he has put together five more of the RMFRP hardbound Mega Value Pack Scratch and Dents. These are not just SnDs though as some of the books have small lamination issues. Do not forget that these are eligible for the free postage deal.

We still have the two coupons from the last newsletter up but we want to try a new system out so here goes. This coupon is limited to one use per customer and a total of ten uses overall. It gives $20 off for any order of $100 or above.
Coupon Code: bc929fa809
That is it for now but Bruce expects to do another email before the end of the month.
Best regards
Heike
