New WAB ruleset announced

For reference (and to get some of you excited) I am currently printing out the first mocked up lay out for the new rules section of WAB! This consists of the words, and placeholders for art, diagrams and photographs.

Back to the work, and just to give some time lines, this version will go out to second phase of play testing and to check the words are all in the right place, and make sense, etc. In theory, all the ideas are sound, we just now need to play more games of soldiers now the feedback from phase one has been incorporated into the text.

A the time of writing, this will take however long it takes to get it right (if thats actually ever possible) but nominally, should be be mid November.

Then we start to tighten the layout, add in other stuff (like hobby sections and finalise scenarios etc) and do photography, although we have started some of this already.

So all being well, Spring 2009, we could well be ready for release but thats just idle speculation on my part at this moment. Full details will be on the news section once we have them all hammered down.
