Frontline General: ICI player aid

A new FREE player aid for Frontline General: Italian Campaign Introduction, the Operational Turn, Force Total, & Event Tracks is now available online! As a result of feedback, we’ve released another new player aid for free. This single-sided 8-1/2”x11” tracking sheet is a simple 3-in-1 solution that helps players track Operational Turns, Force Totals (for supply costs), and a single Event Card’s duration (for Event Cards that span multiple Operational turns). Sheet 2 in the PDF provides US and Germany Tokens for use with the various tracks. Download the FREE Tracking Card from our website in the Game Files – Miscellaneous Section or via the direct link below:

How to use each of the tracks is briefly explained below:

Operational Turn Track:

Place a US or German Token on each Operational Turn counter space to track the current turn for each country. Turns that include Production and Deployment actions are noted appropriately.

Force Total Tracks:

For each country, place up to three Tokens on the Force Total Track that represent the current total cost of forces deployed by that country. It is helpful to exclude forces that are not subject to supply costs. If used in this way, tracking supply costs each Turn is easy. As forces are defeated or deployed, simply adjust the track to suit.

Event Card Track:

If an Event comes into play that lasts multiple Operational Turns, the drawing player places that Event Card face up in the Event Card Track area. Use a token from the drawing player’s country to count down the duration until the Event is no longer a factor in play.

Special Thanks: I’d like to extend a special thanks to the playtester team- esp. John DiPonio, René Raap, Frank Romboud, David Merrick, and Todd Mewborn for providing comments during the development of this player aid. Their input helped shape the card into its current form. Thanks guys!
