GTS Distribution Purchases GameBuyer Magazine
Impressions Advertising & Marketing announced today the purchase of GameBuyer Magazine by Smyrna, Georgia based GTS Distribution for an undisclosed sum. Impressions has been the publisher of GameBuyer since its inception November 2001. GameBuyer magazine is the only monthly business-to-business publication that is 100% dedicated to the hobby game retailer.
“GameBuyer is very near and dear to my heart, but it just makes sense to find a company with the time and resources to take it to the next level”, said Aldo Ghiozzi, owner of Impressions.
“GTS Distribution is very excited to bring GameBuyer into our family “, said Barry Calhoun, Director of Entertainment Products for GTS Distribution. GameBuyer will still continue with the same quality content that has made it such a valuable purchasing tool for nearly eight years. This will be evident with Ghiozzi consulting on the publication in the months ahead. The last issue under Impressions’ ownership will be December 2008 with GTS helming their first issue right afterwards in January 2009.
