Merry Christmas from Baccus 6mm

Wow – another Christmas is almost on us. As ever the last three months of the year have been frantic ones for us, what with attending all the Autumn and Winter shows, bringing out new releases, turning round mail order, and in my case, laying out wargames rules and completing VAT returns. That means we really do look forward to a few days break over Christmas. It will also give me a chance to restock on the bits for the Baccus Basing System. We’ve gone through a projected month’s stock in ten days!

Baccus central will close at midday on December 24th, moulds will not be spun nor metal poured over the festive season. Activities will resume on January 5th 2009. All orders placed using the cart over the period will be processed when we get back.

Once we get to 2009 there will be the usual round of new releases and new products and we’ve got lots of both planned for the next twelve months. As ever, the popular work of fiction known as the Baccus Release Schedule will be posted before the end of the year, so if you fancy reading a modern day fairy tale keep checking this section between Christmas and New Year.

Just to get you in the mood, here’s a picture of some of the resculpted British Napoleonic riflemen who will form part of the new releases early in 2009.

To round off I would like to thank you all for your custom, your input, your phone calls, your emails, your ideas and your company over the last 12 months. Running Baccus can be very hard work with long hours for little return, but one of the great rewards of the whole thing is dealing with you lot out there. You make the whole thing great fun.
