SWCCGPC Virtual Set 17 release date

The Star Wars Players Committee announced today that the Player’s Committee has a release date of Jan. 2 for Virtual Set 17, The Force Unleashed.

“One thing we’ve been putting extra hours in on is to present the “Force skills” and yet keep it within the realm of balance in the game. There’s a number of different ways you’ll see

this played out” said Charles Sonnenburg, Virtual Set 17 Designer. “We are happy to be expanding the game’s universe while also at the same time, maintaining the spirit of the game that so many people worldwide love to play.”

The expansive story, created under direction from George Lucas, is set during the largely unexplored era between Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. In it, players will assist the iconic villain in his quest to rid the universe of Jedi — and face decisions that could change the course of their destiny. The Force Unleashed will be a 20 card set and will release Jan. 2 and will be legal for sanctioned events Jan. 9.
