Against the Odds Magazine #24 Ships Late January

This is just a quick note to say that Against the Odds Magazine #24 (Vol. VI, Nr. 4) will start shipping in late January. Having won the Charles S. Roberts award again last year (fifth time running!) for best board-gaming magazine, we continue to uphold expectations with this issue’s featured game.

DEATHRIDE covers the courageous battle action at Mars-la-Tour during the Franco Prussian War in 1870. A small German force takes the initiative against a massive French Army struggling to break free out of Metz. German cavalry units plunge into enemy lines again and again (known as “deathrides” to the men in them) to delay, distract, and disrupt the French plans.

Chassepot versus Krupp. Elan versus battlecraft. Truly a desperate situation.
