Well, after an exceptional 2008, we came to a few conclusions:

  1. I could not run the company on my own anymore (due to demand and my health)
  2. The warehouse we had was not big enough
  3. Our stock levels needed to rise to meet demand quicker
  4. Our Customer Service could do with a tweak

To that end we have:

  1. taken someone on to help me
  2. moved to a larger store over Christmas
  3. Put in larger orders of goods (although this will take a few weeks to filter in)
  4. Improve our customer service by:
    1. When orders come in, contact customers within 24hrs with an expected delivery time
    2. When packed and ready to be dispatched, email the postage ref number out for ease of tracking
    3. All orders sent via Royal mail will be recorded delivery
    4. Try and email people back within 24hrs

With all these changes, we think that our customer service will match the quality of our cases and trays.
