News from Casemate-Athena

In recent years, Casemate has earned a reputation as the go-to place for the highest quality military history books from around the world. To date we have assembled an enviable list of publishers whose books we bring to the US market.

Many of our distribution client publishers have areas of specialization beyond military history, and working together with them, we are now able to bring you even more high quality publications, covering a wide range of new subjects.

These are some truly spectacular books focusing on a variety of interests, from reference books, cookbooks (both recipe and cookery writing), books about our past and heritage, sports-from baseball to racing cars-and much else besides. The common theme of all these diverse subjects is enthusiasms and pastimes-and indeed, “non fiction books for enthusiasts” is how we describe our new Casemate Athena line of books.

In addition to books from our distinguished publishing partners from around the world, we are also launching a new Casemate imprint in this catalog: Newbury Books.

For its inaugural titles, Newbury Books is proud to be working in conjunction with the Manhattan Rose Society to publish Hennessey on Roses, Plus and The Sustainable Rose Garden (see opposite), both of which will be of considerable interest to serious rosarians as well as weekend gardeners across the country.
