Palladium Books – 1st Press Release of 2009
The New Year is upon us and Palladium is looking to make 2009 a banner year with a constant stream of new releases. For you, our fans, that also means a new RPG (Warpath), new talent, new ideas, new worlds of adventure and fun, fun, fun.
Is that crazy thinking in this economy? We think not. We have a lot of great product in the pipeline, and a zillion wonderful ideas for role-playing games and sourcebooks for the coming year.
Sure, Palladium is feeling a bit of a pinch in the current economy, but we are confident that will change with the release of one epic new product after another.
Details about the ups and downs of 2008 and our hopes for 2009 and a list of new product slated for release in the New Year are covered in the 2009 State of Palladium Books® Open Letter by Publisher Kevin Siembieda.

The Rifter® #45 – At the Printer Ships January 12, 2009
Kevin Siembieda ran out to the printer the morning of New Year’s Eve to review and approve the proof copy. It has been approved and is on schedule to ship January 12, 2009. Please note the modest price increase: $11.95 up from $10.95 retail. Current subscribers are not affected by this increase until their current subscription runs out.

The subscription price will go up a few dollars too, but The Rifter® subscription drive offering a free gift worth $13-$23 will start January 16, so you’ll still save money and get a special item for your trouble.

Palladium Books will continue to try to keep the retail prices of its role-playing game products as low as possible, but after careful analysis, it looks like we are going to have to raise our prices across the board on most sourcebooks by one or two dollars. We hope you understand.

Robotech® Macross® Saga Sourcebook – Available now
The Macross® sourcebook is a toy chest packed with the mecha, vehicles, weapons and characters that made Robotech® famous. Sourcebooks are already being planned and one of our new freelance writers is already working on one. Furthermore, interest in all of Palladium’s horror titles is up (Beyond the Supernatural™, Nightbane® and Hades and the upcoming Minion War™ books).
Dead Reign™ is a role-playing game where the dead have risen, civilization has crumbled, and brave human survivors refuse to lie down and die!
