Hello everyone -

We have five new miniatures posted up in our Online Store and ready for shipping out for your collections.

  • GRRM Masterworks – Rattleshirt – Sculpted by Jeff Grace
  • GRRM Masterworks – Mance Rayder – Sculpted by Jeff Grace
  • Elmore Masterworks – Female Elven Archer – Sculpted by Jeff Grace
  • Visions in Fantasy – Male Samurai – Sculpted by Jeff Grace
  • Visions in Fantasy – Female Mage with Swan and Cat (based on Stephanie Law Artwork) – Sculpted by Gael Goumon

All of these miniatures have new painted versions posted up as well. Three of the painted versions are late stage “work in progress” pictures from Mr. Matt Verzani. Our production facility was so prompt in getting these miniatures cast up and packaged, they out-ran Matt (which almost never happens). Marike Reimer and Alison Scheirman did the honors on the Male Samurai and Female Mage with Swan and Cat respectively.

So check out all of the new painted pictures and snap up any of the new releases you wanted to add to your collections.

Also please note – the Limited Edition Tom Meier Sorceress is almost sold out. We have less than 20 copies left. After that, she is gone folks…So if you did not get ahold of a copy yet, now is your last chance from us.

Now, I must get very serious and let you all in on some really tragic news that shook my world to it’s very core in January. Our first (and only) child Lillian Grace Ludwig passed away after suffering a SIDs attack at Daycare. She had the attack on Monday January 12th during her late morning nap and passed away on Wed night January 14th @ 8:41 pm. This was exactly one month after she was baptized. It was her 6th day at daycare and she was almost 15 weeks old and healthy as a horse. She was well over 14 pounds and was a champ when it came to eating and doing her business. There are many more details on the Tribute Page I created for her on the Dark Sword site. I have created tribute pages for Dennis Mize and Keith Parkinson and never thought I would have to create one for my daughter Lillian. But life has dealt us a hand that I never could begin to imagine in my worst nightmares. I am of course now crying as I type this but it is something I am going to have to live with for the rest of my life. It also is something I will eventually have to come to terms with somehow. So if you have children, go give them a big hug and tell them how much you love them. We thought we had a full life before Lillian, and then had our eyes opened to how full a life can truly be with children. Then just as we were getting into a solid routine with her, she was taken from this world far too soon. I posted up many pictures of her so you can get to know our little Angel and see how full of life and joy she was.
