It is only a week until we release our second Russian front Operation Bagration book. As well as Hammer and Sickle we also have three miniature releases to go with it. The exciting new Sperrverband for the Germans is a box set with a complete infantry company, just add support and stir. The two products spotlighted this week are for the Soviet Rota Razvedki. One features Lend-lease Universal carriers, while the other contains crew for the other transporters the Razvedki Platoons used.
We also have a close look at what you can expect inside Hammer and Sickle with its design notes.
Mike has prepared a Battle Report between Ken and Kyran. The battle fighting the Crossing the Drut scenario from Firestorm—Bagration (due out on 28 February). The report gives you a sneak peek at the river crossing rules and mission found inside.
I also had the pleasure of going to CanCon 2009 in Canberra, Australia and take part in the large Mid War tournament held there. I give a short report and the full results.
Finally we have added some more events. NICON 2009 (New Zealand), 4° Anvil Dragon Trophy (France) and Dragons of Vaires (France) have all been added below.
