Palladium Books Press Release

Robotech® RPG in Barnes & Noble Stores

Barnes & Noble has ordered a good number of Robotech® The Shadow Chronicles® Role-Playing Game (manga-size). The RPG should be hitting B&N store shelves in a week or two, so spread the word.

If the RPG sells well over next few months, Barnes & Noble will order more of them and is likely to add the Macross® and Masters sourcebooks to their offerings. If those sell well, other Palladium RPGs are likely to be added to Barnes & Noble’s selection of RPGs and sourcebooks.

UPDATE: Robotech®: The Masters Saga™ Sourcebook
– Ships February 26, 2009

We are still waiting for final approvals and changes from Harmony Gold, so Robotech® The Masters Saga is likely to go to printer the end of next week and ship February 26, 2009.

The Masters Saga™ captures the era of the Second Robotech War and brings the mecha and heroes of the Army of the Southern Cross (ASC) to life. Adventures can start in the jungles of South America, where the fledgling ASC and the UEDF battled Zentraedi Malcontents, UEG separatists, rebels and terrorists before the UEEF blasted into outer space. Or play during the years of global Reconstruction. Or start your game the day the Masters appeared and the Second Robotech War began. Or play the days between the Masters’ defeat and the arrival of the Invid. Or role-play the battle against the invading Invid swarm when they first appeared, as well as the days that followed as your ASC heroes try to rescue survivors and establish resistance groups to battle the Invid until help can arrive from the UEEF!

    UPDATE: Rifts® Dimension Book™ 11: Dyval™, Hell Unleashed – Ships February 26, 2009

Kevin Siembieda is fast at work to get Dyval™ finished, to the printer and released by the end of February. Nick Bradshaw turned in additional artwork.

Dyval™ is more than just another plane of Hell. It is as dangerous as Hades and a whole lot stranger. Author Carl Gleba made a point of presenting Dyval as someplace unique and different. The art, much of it by Nick Bradshaw, is awesome.

It is the second book in the Minion War™ series, and is every bit as fantastic as Hades. The Deevil Host, evil monsters and minions, Deevil society, monstrous War Steeds, magic, adventure settings and more will make this another welcomed addition to the Palladium Megaverse®. Suitable for use with The Palladium Fantasy RPG®, HU2, Nightbane®, BTS-2, Phase World® and Rifts®. In final production right now!

  • The hellish dimension of Dyval mapped and described.

  • Artwork by Nick Bradshaw, Mike Wilson, Mike Mumah, and others.
  • Cover painting by John Zeleznik.
  • Written by Carl Gleba and Kevin Siembieda.

UPDATE: Rifts® Adventure Sourcebook: The Shemarrian Nation™ – Ships March or April

Jason Marker is done with his initial editing of the material. The next step is to assign artwork and wait for Kevin, Wayne and Alex to make their final edit and any rewrites. Then it is off to the printer. On track for a March or April release.

The Shemarrians, the phantom right arm of Archie Three and a force to be reckoned with in the wild woods beyond the Eastern Wall (the Allegheny Mountains). An in-depth look at the fabricated femme fatales, their false society, and the schemes and dreams that Archie and Hagan have in store for them.

Palladium Books® expanding into the digital realm

Palladium is probably going to start a limited release of its books to be made available as PDF downloads within the next month or two via OneBookshelf.com, RPGNow.com and DrivethruRPG.com.

We’ll be starting with older and out of print titles and see where things go. But we feel the time is right to do it. In final negotiations.

We need to know how many gamers plan to attend the Palladium Open House

We need to know how many people are coming as soon as possible, so we can properly plan for the event.

To do that, we need you to place your Palladium Open House admission orders as SOON as you can. Ideally, before March 15!

    Here’s Why:

    1. Gaming Events. We need to make sure we have enough gaming events scheduled to accommodate everyone planning to come.

    2. Hotel Rooms. We need to make sure we have enough hotel rooms! We may need to secure rooms at a second hotel.

    3. Rentals & Layout. We need to know the number of chairs and tables to rent, additional porta-potties to rent, parking to secure, etc. Which, in turn, will affect our plans for layout, scheduling, parking, and so on.

    4. We may have to limit attendance. Palladium can only host around 300-330 people, so at some point we might have to stop accepting people who wish to attend. We do not think that will happen, but it might. Half are already taken. Reserve your admissions NOW to guarantee your attendance, and to help us make the 2009 POH a wonderful experience.

PLEASE place those OPEN HOUSE ORDERS as SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!

  • More days of gaming.
  • More gaming events.
  • More Palladium creators than ever (50+).
  • Costume contest with real prizes.
  • Live auction. Rare items, out of print books, art & bargains.
  • Don’t miss the fun.

Click here for complete information, and click here to order, or call (734) 721-2903 (order line only). Most credit cards accepted.
