Review: Scrunt Inquisitors

Olleys Armies was set up in October of 2003 by Bob Olley.

Bob has been a freelance sculptor for 20 years and was a historical figurine painter before that. He first became interested in sculpting miniatures when he saw some of Citadel’s fantasy miniatures. Since then he’s worked for many companies, including Reaper Miniatures, Games Workshop, and Ral Partha.

Contents

The review sample sent was a set of Scrunt Inquisitors cast in white metal. The pack (which shipped in a roll of bubble wrap) contained 4 Scrobbits with 4 slottabases included.

About

The motto of the Scrunt Inquisitors is “Our mission is to search out the unclean, to purify with fire all mutational forms. Those that stand in our way can expect and shall receive no mercy.”

The Good

There was no cleaning to be done with these miniatures and no mold slippage.

Although there have been more than a few attempts out there to recreate the fun of Games Workshop’s defunct Squat line, Olleys Armies has mastered the art. With these figures it is exceptionally fun to have “Space Dwarfs” that are religious zealots and fly in the face of all 40K gamers are used to.

The Bad

None.

The Ugly

None.
