Review: Texan Scrunts
Olleys Armies was set up in October of 2003 by Bob Olley.
Bob has been a freelance sculptor for 20 years and was a historical figurine painter before that. He first became interested in sculpting miniatures when he saw some of Citadel’s fantasy miniatures. Since then he’s worked for many companies, including Reaper Miniatures, Games Workshop, and Ral Partha.

Contents
The review sample sent was a set of Scrunties cast in white metal. The pack (which shipped in a roll of bubble wrap) contained 4 Scrobbits with 4 slottabases included. While this particular set were one-piece minis, some of the other sets are multi-part, with a separate sprue for weapon arms.
About
Texan Scrunts are… you guessed it… Wild West Space Dwarfs! A maverick bunch of cigar smoking, tobacco chewing, whiskey swilling, mercenary dwarves.
The Good
There was no cleaning to be done with these miniatures and no mold slippage.
Although there have been more than a few attempts out there to recreate the fun of Games Workshop’s defunct Squat line, Olleys Armies has mastered the art.
I can’t even begin to say how cool these particular Scrunts are. Giving them that western look makes them undeniably awesome.
The Bad
None.
The Ugly
None.
