Review: Z.O.M.B.I.E. Series 1 (Toxic Green)
Formed in 2004, October Toys, LLC is a purveyor of fine toys and collectibles with an artistic twist. The creative misfits who own October Toys have a lifetime of experience collecting toys and two decades combined experience working in the toy industry. While collaborating with a variety of new and established artists, the company is focusing on expanding their debut product, Gwins, as well as adding entirely new projects to the queue.

Meet School Girl, Rockabilly, Bathtime, School Boy, and the Ape. These flesh eating fiends are about 2″ tall and are available in toxic green, pale blue, glow-in-the-dark, and white.

The review samples sent was a set of Toxic Green Z.O.M.B.I.E. Series 1. The soft vinyl figures were sent in the original manufacturer’s packaging, which was a heavy clear bag stapled to a header card.
The Good
I am generally not a fan of designer vinyl toys whatsoever. They tend to cater towards a specific niche market of which I do not belong. These zombies (Z.O.M.B.I.E. standing for Zillions Of Mutated Bodies Infecting Everyone) are definitely the exception to this personal rule.
The detailing is superb – and at a mere $5 for 5 figures you simply cannot go wrong.
The Bad
None.
The Ugly
None.
Scale: 1/32 (54mm) scale
Cost: $5.00 (available through the October Toys webshop – also at KingZombie.com, from where these samples were made available)
