Review: Zombies…3 in 3 Poses
These 1/32 scale zombies are straight out of Shawn Beatty’s love for films by George Romero and the Resident Evil video games. He had these specially made for exclusively for Toy Soldiers Etc. They are the first of what he hopes to be a larger series of zombies and post-Armageddon / horror hero & heroine series.

The review samples sent was a set of Zombies…3 in 3 Poses. The figures were wrapped in bubblewrap and shipped in a small box.
The Good
These figures are very versatile, as their clothes are fairly non-specific and as such do not tie in to any specific era. There was no flash to be found on the figures. These will be very useful miniatures for anyone wanting to use zombies for any type of 54 mm gaming – particularly with army men.
For zombie fans, the exclusivity of the set promises that these will be a rather unique edition to their collection.
The Bad
Scaled at 54mm and thus the same size as generic toy soldiers, one might think that they would be good as toys for the young-uns. This is not the case. The zombies are cast in a very brittle resin that should not be exposed to rough play and must be relegated to adults only.
Also, the detail of these figures will only come through after painting. As they are, they look bland and in need of some brush strokes.
The Ugly
Coming in at $9 a figure this is a very expensive set. While I am sure that this was to cover the high production costs, I believe it will also limit sales to only those who are very interested in having zombie figures at this scale.
Scale: 1/32 (54mm) scale
Cost: $27.00
