The Lords of Skoog from Newbold World

We’ve spent a good part of February updating various galleries around our site. Here’s what we’ve been up to:

We’ve managed to collect almost all the Lords of Skoog into one place for those of you who’d like to run an eye over them as a group. The Lords are the 9-feet-tall (around 49mm) immortals who rule Newbold World, and we plan to start releasing them around the middle of March. We’ve brought the Wizard Naismith along here as an example of how well they paint up.

We’ve updated Quirky Corner with lots of new stuff in an attempt to bring a much-needed tiny smile into the world. As well as our old favourites Maria Macabre and Quirky’s Bits & Pieces, we’ve introduced a new, slightly darker feature called Alexi & Natali.

We’ve updated three of our gentle browsing galleries (In the Spotlight, Personal Collection and Recent Arrivals) for those of you who like looking at artwork, painted figures and sculpts. In them you’ll find examples of both our own new stuff and other peoples’ work that we admire.

And finally, our 1st Creative Event of the 2009 Newbold Challenge is now in full swing, and you can check out the early entries. We hope one or two of you will have go too, and help us to raise a little money for one of the U.K.’s most famous charities, Children in Need.
