Review: 5 terrorists and 3 hostages
At Offensive Miniatures their aim is simply to offer the finest quality figures, sculpted by some of the best sculptors around, expertly cast, and covering any period of history or the future.
The review sample sent was the NFSW103 set, which contains 5 terrorists and 3 hostages from Offensive’s Near Future line. All figures are cast in white metal. These miniatures have a height of 28mm and came shipped in a baggie inside of a clamshell card.
The Good
Close examination of the figures reveals a very good sculpting, crisp and detailed. Faces are nice and not too flat and the facial expressions are especially good.
The figures have clean casts with no flash whatsoever and only very faint mouldlines. As can be seen from the pictures, there are noticeable variations in size, making these minis even more realistic.
I’ve said in earlier reviews of their product that Offensive Miniatures may quickly grown into my favorite new company, and this latest sample is more than enough to convince me that they are an outstanding outfit with superior attention to detail.
