The review sample sent was Odemars’ PF12: Legion of Nightmare set. The 42 miniatures were shipped inside of a small ziplock bag along with the box, which was shipped flat to avoid damage.

The Legion of Nightmare is an eclectic mix of zombie figures (and one human) made up of: Pirate, 18th Century Musketeer, 19th Century Prussian, Viking, Spanish National Guard, Mexican, Roman, Swiss Guard, French Foreign Legion Officer, American Civil War, Cavalryman, Greek Evzone, Amazon, Sumo, and a human preacher in 14 different poses.

The Good

While I’m at a general loss to explain the point of this special mix of figures, I will admit that having sumo zombies and Swiss Guard zombies is really quite cool. Since I’m a sucker for the walking dead – your own opinions may vary on this.

The Bad

The box art, while not important to the actual figures themselves, was terrible. There was also an enormous amount of flash that needed to be removed, and when you’re dealing with unforgiving small-scale plastic – it’s a lot of work.

The Ugly

None.

Scale:
1/72 (20mm)
