UFS adds Tekken 6, FFG offers retailer promotion
The Universal Fighting System CCG is celebrating its third anniversary this year. UFS is the multi-property CCG that brings together fan-favorite characters from fighting videogames like Street Fighter, Soul Calibur III, Darkstalkers, King of Fighters, and Samurai Shodown, and has them battle for dominance in the arena of champions.
2009 will see the addition of Tekken 6 and Soul Calibur IV to the UFS stable of licenses. Fantasy Flight Games also plans to introduce its first original UFS IP: ShadoWar. The Tekken 6, Soul Calibur IV, and ShadoWar expansions will be designed by current World Champion James Hata.
To celebrate UFS’s third anniversary, Fantasy Flight is offering a unique promotion to any and all interested retailers:
Sign up to host two UFS events the weekends of March 20-22 and March 27-29 and FFG will send you, absolutely free, an assortment of tournament-legal product with which to host your events. This assortment will include Starter Decks and Booster Displays from UFS Set 8: Street Fighter: Domination and SNK: Cutting Edge, as well as promo prize packs, and a special UFS poster to advertise your special events.
