War of The Ring – Quickstart Rules

Games Workshop has posted the following on their site:

War of The Ring is almost upon us and around Games Workshop HQ players are gathering their forces and preparing for full-scale war. We thought it would be good to provide a ‘quickstart’ version of the rules that include the very basics of the game and will give gamers the chance to see a little of what War of The Ring is all about and how it works.

What you’ll find within the following downloads are a two-page quickstart rules guide and an exciting scenario. These two downloads contain the basics of the game, and the profiles for many of the units featured – everything you need to get started.
