Fantasy Flight Games is proud to announce the Summer release of one of our most highly-anticipated games: Middle-earth Quest!

Middle-earth Quest brings together the design talents of Christian T. Petersen (A Game of Thrones: The Board Game, Twilight Imperium) and Corey Konieczka (Battlestar Galactica: The Board Game, StarCraft: The Board Game) with Tim Uren, and presents an epic adventure game set in the lavishly-realized world of Middle-earth from J.R.R. Tolkein’s The Lord of the Rings.

Middle-earth Quest takes players to Middle-earth in the period between Bilbo’s departure from the Shire and Frodo’s quest to Mount Doom. One player takes the role of Sauron, who is attempting to dominate Middle-earth with his nefarious plots and evil minions. Up to three other players take the roles of heroes who must hold the darkness at bay, aiding Gandalf until his plans have matured. To do so, the heroes must embark on dangerous quests and consult with the famous characters of Middle-earth to gain favor and knowledge.

Will you play as Sauron and claim Middle-earth as your own? Or will you play as a hero and stand against the Dark Lord? The fate of Middle-earth rests in your hands!

Middle-earth Quest includes high-detailed plastic playing pieces representing Middle-earth’s heroes and Sauron’s minions; a large (28.25 x 41 in.), beautifully-illustrated, two-part game board; and hundreds of cards and tokens.
