CMON Contest 14 Winners Announced!
Once again, we have concluded yet another miniature painting contest. We would like to thank Enigma Miniatures for providing us with an exciting miniature for our members. We received many outstanding entries, at the end Orb won the contest.

CMON Contest 15 begins late June- Female Anti-Paladin from Dark Sword Miniatures (Limited Edition)
Following the success of our previous limited edition contest miniatures, Cool Mini Or Not is proud to once again partner with Dark Sword Miniatures and Jeff Grace to offer a very naughty Female Anti-Paladin with her pet Pseudo Dragon as our next contest miniature. Dark Sword Miniatures is a multiple award winning pewter miniature company that produces premium fantasy miniatures based on the artwork of legendary artists such as Larry Elmore, Keith Parkinson, Jeff Easley and Clyde Caldwell. In addition, Dark Sword Miniatures is also producing premium pewter miniatures based on the works of New York Times best-selling author George R.R. Martin. This naughty miniature is sculpted by veteran sculptor Jeff Grace who is known for his crisp execution and attention to those fine details. The picture speaks for itself. This miniature is only limited to 399 Worldwide, and 199 of them are available exclusively from our CMON shop. This is a one-time only offer, as once we sell through our initial allotment of 199, we WILL NOT be able to get a restock as this is a strict limited edition miniature. The Dark Sword Miniatures Female Anti-Paladin will be used as our CMON contest miniature for late June 2009. Dark Sword Miniatures will be offering prizes for the winners and selected participants. This version was painted by Miss Marike Reimer and will not be allowed in the contest.

Dark Age Games new base inserts, pre-release miniatures and restock
2 new sets of base inserts from Dark Age Games:
Each of these set come in 3 sizes (30mm, 40mm and 50mm) and will fit inside premium round bases or on top of traditional GW bases. They are designed so that there is enough room on the base insert for you to fit your miniature onto.
Groundwerks Base Inserts – Frigid Barrens
In order to allow for interesting effects, the Frigid Barrens series is all made with clear resin. This way, you can add LED lights on the bottom of the base or use masking techniques to leave the icicles clear, all in an effort to make basing miniatures more interesting.
Groundwerks Base Inserts – Mosaic Ruins
Unlike the Lava Slab series which has a smooth surface on top, the Mosaic Ruins series all have tiled designs edged into the top of the insert.
