Rogue Trader Sneak Peek at Free RPG Day this Saturday!

On Saturday, June 20, fans can get their first look at the newest game in the Warhammer 40,000 Roleplay series, Rogue Trader!

Free RPG Day showcases roleplaying games with quickstart rules and adventures from numerous companies, run at nearly 300 stores worldwide! You and your friends can be among the first to try out Rogue Trader with a special adventure written specifically for this event, “Forsaken Bounty”. Lead Developer Ross Watson has created two new characters for this adventure (beyond the three included in the adventure booklet itself), available on the FFG website.

You can check out the list of participating stores on the Free RPG Day website, and contact a local participating store to reserve your spot at the table! If you’re not lucky enough to have a local participating game store, don’t worry — we’ll be posting this mini-adventure for free download next week!

Rogue Trader is a roleplaying game set in dark gothic far future of Games Workshop’s Warhammer 40,000 universe. Players take on the roles of explorers aboard a Rogue Trader’s ship, searching for profit and adventure while discovering new alien cultures and threats in the uncharted regions of space.

Final Arkham Horror League Scenario Posted!

It’s been a long, wierd road, but the Arkham Horror League has come to its conclusion. The final scenario has been posted, and it’s a doozy! Help Calvin Wright and the intrepid band of Investigators save the world from certain doom!

With Father Dagon and Mother Hydra as Heralds and Great Cthulhu at the end of the road, this is bound to be the toughest scenario yet. You may be close to death and nearly insane, but remember: If Arkham falls, the rest of the world will surely follow.

Arkham Horror is a boardgame of mystery and madness set in Arkham in the 1920′s. Players investigate the strange happenings about the town, and race to prevent ancient evil from surfacing.
