Nightbane Survival Guide has gone to press
On Dark Day, the Nightlords quietly invaded earth and replaced many of its leaders with Dopplegangers. They worked their way into law enforcement and set up a smokescreen of denial that anything has changed. But, for some, change did come in a big way. The event called Dark Day triggered a transformation in some people, a change into an inhuman monster called a Nightbane. You are an enemy of the Nightlords, both feared and hunted by their minions from a world called the Nightlands.
You can change from human to Nightbane at will, once you get used to the process. Fortunately, an unknown author has placed the Nightbane Survival Guide on the Internet in too many places for the Nightlords’ minions to find and delete them all. There are many theories about why you are what you are, and many factions vying to recruit you into the various Nightbane Factions like the Seekers and Nocturnes. The Survival Guide will tell you about the Underground Railroad and about how to make contact with others who will help you to survive.
Your form may be part human and part mechanical or part human and part animal or a creature from fantasy. Pieces of jagged metal may be imbedded in your body or you could have a strange, alien appearance. The point is, you are on your own now, shunned by everyone except Nightbane like yourself.
