The X-Con World Fiasco
Tomorrow is the first day of X-Con World 2010 in Myrtle Beach. It will be my first X-Con, and the first time I’ll be “running” games at a con. I’ll be facilitating Fiasco all weekend. I’m really looking forward to it, though with some trepidation. I’m just having a little “stage fright” since this will be a new experience with a new game. If you want to learn more about the game, check out my review here. If you’re interested, come find me at X-Con this weekend.
For all of you veterans at running convention games, here’s where I ask for your input and advice. What should I do/not do? I know that’s a broad question, but like I said, I’ve never done this before, so I’ll welcome any advice. Fiasco is a GM-less game, so I don’t have to worry about some of the traditional aspects of running a game, but I know that there are some things that will apply even to a game like Fiasco. Also, for any Fiasco players out there, which playset(s) should I attempt? Should I let the players pick? Or should I pick in advance?
Come on, people. Hit me up with advice!
