When Fringe meets Firefly

So, Fox is going to be moving the fantastic show Fringe to Friday nights this January. The series will begin airing new episodes on Friday, January 28 at 9:00 PM ET / 8:00 PM Central.

To celebrate the fact that the first episode after the return will be entitled, “Firefly”, YouTube user Gulacit has redone the opening credits of the JJ Abrams’ show in the style of the credits from Joss Whedon’s epic space western. I thought that this was just too cool not to share.

Gulacit says “These are two of my favourite shows and wanted to do some kind of tribute to both of them, this is the result. I tried to do my best to be faithful to the original opening.”
