Free Form Friday: The All About Me Edition
Welcome back fine and fabulous fans of Free Form Friday frivolity! Here we go with another round of questions by you the people at home for us the Keyboard Kalashnikovs.
What are your thoughts about Harry Potter?
Well if you need to ask you obviously don’t know me very….wait….let me turn down Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone it’s way too loud….anyway I’m super excited and can’t wait to see it. Am I going to opening night midnight? No. But only because I’ve worked a gajillion hours in the past two weeks and literally am to the point of exhaustion.
What games are you really enjoying right now?
Right now? Absolutely none. I’m writing this article. Other than right now, it depends on the medium we’re talking about:
Role-playing games I’m down with right now, I’m running a Pathfinder Carrion Crown campaign and it’s lots of fun. And while I wouldn’t necessarily peg Fiasco as just an RPG, it’s another game I’m loving right now. If you haven’t played it, do yourself a favor and go buy it. I’m a fan of the PDF download, but if you go digital, please do it legally, this is a small company and they need the love.
As for board games, I’m stoked I managed to snag a copy yesterday of Pandemic, so I’m waiting excitedly for that, which I hear is OOP. I also have a new copy of Mansions of Madness I’ve yet to get to play. So as for games I’ve actually been playing and not just pumped about, I’m ashamed to say we’ve been having a bit of fun with Munchin: Zombies.
Video games? CoD: Black Ops, gotta prestige at least one more time before MW3 drops…
My miniature\wargaming has more or less been put on hold due to my ridiculous schedule and that of my gaming buddies. I’m yet to get my Battletech dusted off since the drop of 25th Anniversary, but I’m planning to.
When are you fighting next?
I’m going to be fighting along with a bunch of my training partners from Renzo Gracie’s and across the country at the PanAms in October. It should be broadcasted on line.
What Airsoft gear are you using?
In case you didn’t know I am an airsofter. My wife thinks Airsofters are a little crazier than Paintballers (which I’ve been). As for uniforms I have a Digital Woodland (MARPAT) BDU set by Propper. Goggles: ESS Adrenaline Turbofan. Guns: KWA 1911DS, ECHO 1 MP5A4 Master Series, ECHO 1 SCAR L. That’s the overview. We can talk more details later.
