52: The Next BIG Reboot

As you all should know by now, I am a huge Superman geek. With the end of Smallville (the longest running Superman television live action series) this past spring I was left with the continuing adventures from DC comics to comfort me. Even though we all have the June 2012 reboot coming to theaters titles “Man of Steel” to be excited about, that’s not the reboot I’m talking about when we say 52. On August 31st, (a Wednesday of course) DC Comics will launch yet another reboot of the DC of the entire DC Universe with 52 NEW first issues. What’s interesting and exciting is that it’s a fresh reboot without a crisis. No multi-verse, end of the world scenario this time. Just a fresh restart of all of our beloved characters. So here is a look at my favorites of the 52 new books.
