- New from Lost Battalion Games. Sergeants Miniatures Game (SMG) is a struggle to describe. - New from High Flying Dice Games. Tough Hombres: The Battle of Mairy is the latest title in the Blood and Steel, Lorraine Campaign Series and features graphics by Bruce Yearian. The game simulates the clash between the U.S. Third Army’s 90th Infantry Division (nicknamed the “Tough Hombres”) and counterattacking German forces led by the 106th Panzer Brigade and elements of the newly formed 59th Volksgrenadier Regiment. After breaking out of the Normandy Bridgehead in July, Patton’s Third Army led the advance across France to the German’s Westwall fortifications. - New from Columbia Games. Crusader Rex, 2nd edition features a new, larger, map and new playing cards. This block game covers the Third Crusade, with one player commanding the Franks, the other, the Saracens. The objective of the game is to control important Victory Cities such as Jerusalem, Acre, Damascus, and Antioch. Price: $59.99.

- Gryphon Games has launched a Kickstarter project for Kevin G. Nunn’s Zong Shi, a design that was at Face 2 Face Games for a number of years before being picked up by Gryphon. The Zong Shi Kickstarter project runs through early December 2011.
