Mashable Movie Industry Inforgraphic

Those brilliant chaps over at Mashable make nice things and have a pretty good eye for design. They released this Infographic about the how the movie industry has consistently tried to control media outlets over time and cried “end of the world” over and over in the last century or so. It was partially a response to the building tension of SOPA and how the movie industry was a large supporter of the Act. So I thought I’d share it with you. Ultimately when there is big money in an industry and it’s run by near sited suits, it will inevitable stunt or challenge the growth of media and how business is done.
